Course Introduction Listening and Speaking aims to train students in the skills of listening and speaking. In this respect, the course sets out to do two things: to provide guidance which will be suitable for aural/oral practice and to enable students to pass CET-4. Students are expected to understand short passages of English spoken at normal speed. As for speaking skill, the ability to read a short passage of English (up to 200 words in length) aloud should be developed.
